The AICAT Award was enstablished in 2006 on AICAT initiative, with SETARAM financial support, and it is now sponsored by TA Instruments since 2016. Since 2024, the prize is named after the colleague Giuseppe (Pino) Della Gatta, who passed in 2020.
This Prize is awarded to a scientist in recognition of significant scientific achievements in the field of thermal analysis and calorimetry. The winners of the Prize are selected by the AICAT Scientific Committee.
